Marc Olsen is the Chief Advisor of Urgent Care and Consumer Directed Health Services at SCALE Healthcare.
Marc is a passionate healthcare executive with deep experience in growing billion-dollar health systems and scalable startups, streamlining early-stage operations and building infrastructure, and motivating diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
Marc is the former Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Peachtree Immediate Care, a hyper-growth urgent care company and one of the fastest growing in the country today. In this role, he doubled revenue and EBITDA in less than 3 years. Marc led the COVID-19 response for Peachtree and 3 other portfolio companies in 4 states, transforming the company into the largest testing network in Georgia with 11 drive-thru testing sites, a telemedicine platform, and 24 other clinics offering curbside exams and antibody testing.
Previously, Marc was the VP of Physician Operations at Virtual Medical Staff. He began his career at a regional investment bank before leaving to work for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in their strategy department and then at WellStar Health System overseeing a number of departments.
Marc is the Founder & Chairman of Kilifi Kids, which has helped more than 100,000 Kenyans live healthier lives through major deworming campaigns and mobile health interventions for children and mothers. He also sits on the Board of the Rotary Club of Vinings and Georgia Department of Behavioral Health. Marc received a BS in Commerce and Government from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
