Steven Graubart is the Chief Advisor, Micro Hospitals at SCALE Healthcare.
Steven is an entrepreneur and healthcare executive focused on driving innovation within hospitals, payers, and health systems. Steven is the CEO of Community Hospital Partners, partnering with large hospital systems to grow their footprint and market share by building and managing their micro hospital infrastructure in under-penetrated trade areas. With more than ten years’ experience in the micro hospital management business, Steven has identified the best elements of all micro hospital operating and joint venture models and deploys them with his hospital partners.
Previously, Steven was the founder and CEO of Tandem Hospital Partners, where he grew the team from startup to over 550 employees, fifteen hospitals, $100mm of revenues and six hospital joint ventures. While CEO of Tandem, they delivered quality and patient experiences that were recognized in 2018 by PRC as number one in the US out of more than 400 eligible hospitals.
Prior to Tandem, Steven was President of Emerus Management Company, where he originated and deployed the micro hospital joint venture model with Baylor Scott & White, Baptist Health System, SCL and others. Steven has also held leadership positions at US Fiduciary, Sylvan Learning Systems, and Sterling Partners.
Steven graduated with a BS in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and received his MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
